Historical Photos of Station 1 at the corner of Fennell and Jordan Streets
Former station at the corner of Fennell and Jordan Streets. This building was razed in the 1960's for the construction of the present Milford Building. Notice the two doors on the Jordan Street side for individual apparatus. These were later changed as seen in the photo below.
This photo is looking at the station towards the west, with the "Old Stone Mill" in the background. Notice the two single garage doors have been removed for one large door to accommodate the increased size and number of the apparatus. To the right of the garage door is the "jail"; notice the bars on the window to the right.
